Imagine having to introduce yourself to a new group of people every day. This is how some dogs feel when they visit a dog park. This would be stressful for most of us! Contrast that feeling with how you feel when you spend time with a good friend or two. I know which of these that I (and my dogs) would prefer.

Social walks provide an opportunity for your puppy or dog to develop friendships with their own kind. They provide an opportunity to spend time with other dogs who are different breeds and ages to them. It is also an opportunity to practice being calm, on lead near other dogs (a skill that, if lacking, can contribute to reactivity). It is also a great social opportunity for owners to chat and catch up.

To ensure the best chance of harmonious groups of dogs and puppies for walking, this is a service available to Paw Prints clients only. The cost is $20 for each walk.
